Drive Chip and Putt Registration
The Drive Chip and Putt Competition this year at Augusta National Golf Club was by all measures a fantastic event and a huge success. It made for compelling television for not only a Sunday morning, it could have competed against any tournament’s Sunday final round.
What most of the golfing population may not know is that there is limited availability to register for a local Drive Chip and Putt event, which allows a young man or woman the opportunity to possibly be at Augusta National next April. The USGA, the PGA of America, and The Augusta National Golf Club Foundation purposefully limited entries at each local qualifier to insure the quality of the event and the enjoyment of the participants and their parents. having volunteered at the North Florida Regional Qualifying Event last September, I can tell you that participating in these events as a parent or child is a one-of-a-kind experience that everyone should put on their list of “Must Do” items.
All that being stated, I was informed by the North Florida Section yesterday that the 2014 Drive Chip and Putt Registration for local qualifying events is filling fast. We anticipate that all our local events will be full within the next few days. in Florida. There are not many spots left at most of the North Florida sites. All the local sites are expected to be full in the next few days.
There are spots available in other parts of the country, but those are filling fast as well.
If you live in the North Florida Area and have a child who has the slightest interest in Golf, this is a great event for him or her to participate in. Click on the National Registration Site Link to Register Your Young Lady or Gentleman for Drive Chip and Putt!
The news from around the country is there are spots still available, and there are many metro areas that are filling fast. I encourage your to share this post with your network of friends and family so they too have the opportunity to register for this year’s Drive Chip and Putt Competition.
