18 Aces to Conquer Cancer
As the entire industry attempts to grow the game of golf, we all search for unique ways of creating fun and reward for player of all skill levels. And if we can give back in doing so, that is icing on the proverbial cake. One way John Hughes Golf is giving back is taking part in the 18-Aces to Conquer Cancer event at Reunion Resort. This is a “Scramble” format on 18 Par 3 Holes. All four player hit a tee shot, pick the best drive, and all team players play their second shot from that spot. The process is repeated until a ball is holed. The format is fun, allows everyone to participate and feel they contributed to the team, and is always rewarding by providing a great atmosphere of fellowship and possibly big prizes. Most all golfers have played this format before. But have you played it in a way that all 18-holes are Par 3 holes and at each hole, you have a chance to win a new car?
The 18 Aces to Conquer Cancer Tournament, which happens this coming Wednesday at Reunion Resort is a great example of thinking outside the box to create a lot of fun for golfers who play a lot and for those who do not play as often as they want, and feel they have given back to a great cause. I encourage everyone to click the linked photo and give serious consideration to participating in a one-of-a-kind event.
I look forward to seeing you there!
