Golf Season Preparation
Golf Season Preparation; are you doing your part to be ready when the cold weather breaks? With the very cold weather hitting most of the country this week, golf season is one more week away from you, depending upon where you live. In Orlando, we have been fortunate to have great weather all week. And the couple nights we had unusually cool overnight temperatures, the mercury bounced back during daylight hours to make things comfortable to visit upon your favorite course or practice facility.
For those of you in parts of the country where hitting a golf ball is not a possibility right now, it is a great time to start your preparation for golf season by getting your clubs in shape prior to the weather breaking. Are your grips needing replacing? Club heads clean of last season’s dirt? Lofts and lies; are they where they should be? Making a few simple checks of your equipment now will save you time and money later. Be sure to inspect your clubs for any unusual wear and tear, get your grips replaced now, and have a certified club repair professional check the lofts and lies of all your clubs to be sure your club set is properly gabbed to prevent you from making simple mistakes before you ever address a golf ball. Golf season preparation is easy to do, does not take a lot of time, and allows you to enjoy the game sooner than later. Take the time today to start your golf season preparation.
